| Many of the same people came along to the second concert in the series, to enjoy the Summertime Jazz Trio's arrangements of some jazz and swing classics. The Summertime Jazz Trio are Terry Gregory (bass), Frank Weatherly (flute/saxophone) and John McGinley (guitar). | They started with their arrangement of Minor Swing by Django Reinhardt ... | ||

| ... then improvised around the theme of Hawaii Five-O before Frank Weatherly changed over to his saxophone bought on e-bay, to play an instrumental arrangement of Honeysuckle Rose, made famous by Fats Waller, and a variation on Black Orpheus loosely based on the Sonny Rollins version. | |||

| After an introduction to the unloved nature of the instrument, followed an arrangement of Sonny Rollins' St Thomas on the recorder ... | ... a version of Erroll Garner's Misty with as an alto-sax as lead instrument interspersed with story and comment ... | ...including a discussion of jazz techniques as a business tool ... | and teaching the audience a clapping pattern so making them into the rhythm section for a piece. |

| The set finished with a piece to show case John McGinley on guitar ... | ... and Terry Gregory on bass. The whole concert was a very warm and friendly affair, with much laughter all round. | ||
The first two concerts in the series raised around £450 towards the restoration of the Organ.

Suzanne Higgins, contralto, and Eileen Broster, pianist, provided the last summer concert in the series raising money for work on the organ |
Singing a mixture of songs such as When Laura Smiles and If She Forsake by Rossiter, 'Twas within a furlong by Henry Purcell, Foolish maid by Eccles, Storace, Ferrari, Lully, Morin and a series from Brahms, Suzanne and Eileen sang and chatted their way through another enjoyable concert. |
Behind them can be seen the scaffolding to allow cleaning of the outside of the organ case, the work already in progress |
