Celebrating a Centenary & Launching a New Initiative...

2007-9 are special years for St John's.  They mark two Centenaries - 1907 saw the death of our architect, George Frederick Bodley and was the culmination of an ambitions church building project.  1909 saw the completion of the Tower the foundation stone of which was laid in 1907   So we give thanks for those who went before us and bequeathed us such a magnificent building.  But we also look to the future and we continue our Development Appeal to put up a new building next to the church to enable us to carry out our mission more effectively in the years to come...

The Box

Young people's café on the High Street!

The Box has now been open for three years and really makes a difference in many young peoples' lives through a range of sessions, from education for those finding school challenging to open youth group sessions, working in liaison with local schools, community police, councils and counselling.  The Box is used by many young people. Please continue to pray for Ali & Tim Dolan and the Koinonia Youth Trust. [Click here for more information...]
