8am – Holy Communion (a simple said service using the Book of Common Prayer)

9.20am – Sung Communion on 1st , 3rd and 4th Sunday’s of the month (A service with hymns led by a

robed choir, groups are offered for children and young people)

9.20am – Upfront service for All Ages (A Service of the Word with music led by a small band)

6pm – Choral Evensong on the 2nd Sunday of the month (except between January and March when

the service is at 4pm)

Sundays at 6 - between March and October a special programme of services takes place.

Midweek Services

Midweek Activities at St John's Epping

Monday  - Wednesday 8.45am Morning Prayer; 5pm Evening Prayer

Monday 10am -12 midday Morning Coffee in the church

Wednesday 9.30am Said Communion

Thursday 10am - 11.30 Church Mice (For preschool age children with an parent/carer)

For many years we have held the vision that our church community should be the heart of Epping. We seek to be a welcoming congregation, rooted in love. We want to love God and to love our neighbours. We are passionate about our community and about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

All are welcome at St John's. Whether you want to come to the main service at 9.20am on Sunday, pop in for some quiet time during the week, or join us for Monday morning coffee; everyone is welcome. 

We seek to serve all members of our community and to provide a space where all can experience the love of God. We know that people are unique and we make use of the rich breadth of Christian tradition.

Sometimes you'll hear bells rung and smell incense whilst the choir sings and the organ plays. Sometimes you'll hear the band playing and see flags waving. We look forward to meeting you in person.
